Dibrugarh University has released official notification of Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) 2023 for the admission into various Post Graduate Programmes conducted by Dibrugarh University and its Affiliated and autonomous colleges. Any candidate wish to study in any PG courses under Dibrugarh University must appear in this PG entrance test mandatorily .

 These courses include Master’s in Arts (MA), Master’s in Science (MSc), Master’s in Commerce (MCom) and M.Ed. under Dibrugarh University. Candidates passed/ appeared/ appearing 6th semester BA, BSc, BCom examinations can now submit their application though online portal for this entrance examination

Eligibility Criteria :

Eligibility criteria for admission in to various master degree courses under Dibrugarh University are as follows:

Master of Arts:

# Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR

# Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

Master of Science:

# Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR

# Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

Master of Commerce:

# Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Speciality/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR

# Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

Important note :

# Candidates appeared/ appearing in the 6th Semester B.A., B.Sc., B. Com Examinations, 2023 and waiting for their results are eligible to appear. in the DUPGET 2023 and can get provisional admission if selected.

# Candidates appeared/ appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results but have backlog in 2nd and/ or 4th Semester Examinations are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2023 and can get provisional admission if selected.

  MA :  Anthropology, Applied Psychology, Mass Communication, Assamese, Bodo,Economics, Education, English, Women Studies,Geography, History, Mathematics,Political Science, Philosophy,Sociology and Statistics

MSC : Anthropology, Applied Geology,Chemistry, Geography, LifeSciences, Biotechnology & Bio- informatics, Mathematics, Physics  and Statistics

MCOM : Finance and Marketing

MED : MASTERS  IN EDUCATION

Application Fee of DUPGET 2023:

The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 750/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form. No other mode of payment is accepted.
